Project details
At Wynyard Hall Spa, GT3 is creating a luxury wellness destination that enhances the visitor experience while celebrating its historic setting. Inspired by Nordic spa traditions, the design strengthens the connection between the building, the surrounding landscape and the estate, creating an experience centred around health, wellbeing and relaxation.
Set within the historic grounds of Wynyard Hall, GT3 is transforming the existing spa into a luxury wellness destination that complements one of the North East’s most prestigious hospitality estates. Inspired by Nordic spa traditions, the design combines contemporary wellness experiences with the character and heritage of the surrounding landscape.
The proposals expand and enhance the existing facilities through a sequence of immersive spaces that guide visitors on a journey of relaxation and rejuvenation. New treatment rooms, thermal experiences, hydrotherapy facilities and an infinity pool overlooking the lake are complemented by tranquil relaxation spaces, landscaped terraces and a lakeside café, creating a seamless relationship between the building and its natural setting.
Every design decision has been made to elevate the guest experience while improving accessibility, functionality and operational efficiency, ensuring Wynyard Hall Spa continues to evolve as a premium destination for health, wellbeing and luxury hospitality.
