Premier Inn Middlesbrough transformed a former town centre car park into a contemporary hotel that supports the continued regeneration of Middlesbrough. Developed for Jomast, the project delivers high-quality visitor accommodation while strengthening the town's hospitality offer and encouraging further investment within the surrounding area.
Located on Wilson Street, Premier Inn Middlesbrough forms part of the ongoing regeneration of the town centre. The project replaces an underused surface car park with a contemporary hotel that complements neighbouring developments while creating a welcoming destination for business and leisure visitors.
The six-storey building provides 83 bedrooms, together with a ground floor reception, restaurant and bar designed to create an active frontage and enhance the surrounding streetscape. The simple, efficient layout supports the operational requirements of Premier Inn while creating a comfortable and consistent guest experience.
As part of a wider programme of investment led by Jomast, the development contributes to the ongoing transformation of Middlesbrough town centre, bringing new activity to the area while making effective use of a previously underutilised brownfield site.
