We’re delighted to announce that GT3 has been recognised with two awards at the Constructing Excellence Midlands Awards 2026, celebrating both our continued growth as a practice and the impact our projects have on the communities they serve.

This year’s success saw GT3 awarded:

• SME of the Year
• Social Impact Award for Clay Cross Active

Receiving both awards is a significant milestone for the practice. Together, they recognise not only the quality of our work but also the values that shape it. At GT3, we believe architecture has the power to improve lives, strengthen communities and create places where people feel connected, supported and inspired.

Recognising the Impact of Clay Cross Active

Winning the Social Impact Award for Clay Cross Active is particularly meaningful. Delivered in partnership with North East Derbyshire District Council and the wider project team, the development was designed to place health, wellbeing and inclusion at the centre of the community.

The facility provides a welcoming destination where people of all ages and abilities can swim, exercise, meet others and access opportunities to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Beyond the building itself, the project represents a long-term investment in creating healthier lifestyles, tackling inactivity and supporting stronger community connections.

The award recognises the positive difference the project is making, demonstrating how thoughtful, people-focused design can deliver lasting social value.

Celebrating Our People

Being named SME of the Year is also a proud moment for GT3. As the practice has continued to grow, we’ve remained committed to the values that have guided us from the beginning: collaboration, creativity and designing around people.
