Chris Parrish

Project Architectural Technologist

As a Project Architectural Technologist, Chris works closely with the Architects from the design stages through to being on site and handover. Part of the GT3 project team, Chris ensures deadlines and drawing requests are met, collaborating with contractors and sub-contractors to check drawings and ensure coordination between all consultants’ models. They also produce various drawing and specification packages to ensure smooth project delivery.

Specialisms: Chris specialises in the buildability of designs, ensuring the overall construction is feasible and can be executed as intended. Time management and communication are key aspects of the role, as meeting deadlines and working alongside consultants and sub-contractors is a daily part of the job. Effective collaboration is essential, and Chris understands the importance of adapting to each team member's approach. Working under pressure and in fast-paced environments, Chris thrives in situations where quick problem solving and decision making are required.

Personal Ambition: "I’ve always dreamed of buying a doer-upper house to refurbish, renovate, and extend as a personal project. I don’t like to sit still, so I try to learn something new every day, even if it’s something small. I’m also aiming to get back into reading. Additionally, I’m determined to compete in a Hyrox fitness event in the future".
