Designing for People, Planet and Performance
We believe buildings should do more than meet the brief. They should support long-term wellbeing, reduce environmental impact and deliver lasting value. Our approach to sustainability is practical, collaborative and research-led. From low-carbon strategies to full Passivhaus certification, we help clients achieve real-world impact through thoughtful design.
Why Passivhaus?
Passivhaus is the leading international standard for energy-efficient building. It creates comfortable, healthy spaces with very low energy demand. For clients, that means reduced running costs, improved building performance and better outcomes for users and the environment.
How We Work
We know every project is different. That’s why we work closely with clients and design teams to tailor sustainable solutions that work within their budgets, timelines and priorities. Whether targeting full certification or embedding key principles, our team brings experience, insight and flexibility.
Our Experience
We’re proud to be delivering the world’s first 50/50 wet and dry leisure centre to achieve Passivhaus certification — the Eclipse Leisure Centre. This landmark project is setting a new standard for sustainable, low-energy community spaces. Additionally, we are working on the Cranleigh Leisure Centre, which will be targeting Passivhaus certification. Both projects highlight our expertise in delivering energy-efficient, high-performance leisure facilities.
Our in-house certified Passivhaus Designer, Josh Wardle, leads our work in this area, bringing deep knowledge and practical experience to every stage of the process.
