“This is the completion of one of the most significant Horsham District Council investments in years, designed to meet the needs of our growing community.” Councillor Jonathan Chowen, Cabinet Member for Leisure, as quoted in The District Post.
Horsham’s Bridge Leisure Centre opened in October 2018 and has already received positive feedback from the local community. The scheme, designed by GT3 Architects, includes a ‘Clip ‘n’ Climb’ area, sports hall, outdoor sports courts, 70 station state-of-the-art fitness suite and studios. The centre also includes a sensory room and a Beauty & Sports Therapy Injury clinic.
Christie, one of the GT3 Architects behind the design of the leisure centre said, “It was a real joy to attend the successful opening ceremony for the Bridge Leisure Centre. It was a great opportunity to see the finished building full of people for the first time and meet with members and visitors. We feel confident that the building will serve its purpose after the positive feedback and praise received from the user groups, council members and the operator. It has been the result of strong team work within GT3 Architects and the wider design team.”
