BIM (Building Information Modelling)
GT3 Architects embrace technology and innovation that deliver tangible benefits to improve the service we provide to our clients and the performance of our staff. Building Information Modelling (BIM) allows us as designers to create whole projects in a virtual 3D environment improving visualisations and communications. Used as a collaborative tool, BIM improves the pace of delivery, eliminates inconsistencies and provides greater cost certainties.
We can support clients in the development of an appropriate BIM strategy for a project, helping them to define the Employers Requirements, producing a BIM Execution Plan in response and managing the process thereafter.
At GT3 Architects, the adoption of BIM is as much about unlocking the talent of our staff and enabling greater collaboration as it is about technology and processes. We have been at the forefront of the construction industry transition towards Building Information Modelling (BIM) and have been using it on selected projects since 2012 and exclusively on all projects since 2014. We have successfully completed projects in a variety of different sectors from inception to completion, working collaboratively with other consultants in a BIM environment, creating federated models, performing environmental analysis, visualisation and detailed clash detection.
We have developed a robust set of protocols based upon our past project experiences, all of which are compliant with the UK Level 2 standards. GT3 Architects have the skills and experience of managing a BIM project, supporting the client and working collaboratively with the contractor and other consultants.
